As part of the Master Plan for the development of the Station Square area (on Pittsburgh's South Side), Forest City Commercial Group (the developer) secured the services of KA Architects, Inc. for the design of an observation tower facing the City of Pittsburgh, and with a connecting pedestrian bridge.  D & D Engineering, Inc. provided the electrical engineering design services necessary for power distribution, telecommunications, and aesthetic lighting requirements of both the tower and the bridge and future riverfront development requirements (electrical and telecommunications) for this area.
